Autobahn Autos is proud to offer this exceptional 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, finished in Sapphire Red Metallic with Beige exclusive leather interior. It took a little over 50 years, but with the introduction of the SLS AMG Mercedes-Benz finally had a spiritual successor to the iconic 300SL Gullwing of the fifties. And while 50 years is a very long time to wait, it doesn't take anytime to see it was well worth it. The SLS (Super Light Sport) was the first vehicle to be built in house by Mercedes AMG division. It features an epic, 563 hp 6.2L V8, a 7 speed dual clutch gearbox, a largely hand assembled aluminum chassis and the comfort you'd expect from a Mercedes-Benz. During its Top Gear review, Jeremy Clarkson opined it was "the greatest car in the world" and noted "it's more powerful than a Ferrari 458, just, it's a little bit louder than a Lamborghini, and it's way more fun than the 911RS GT Turbo 3S or whatever this week's ultimate Beetle is called; this is the thinking man's supercar." Porsche dig aside, we agree this car is a uniquely impressive automobile.

This SLS AMG was purchased by the current owner in early 2015 at approximately 13k miles. It was part of a larger collection, accounting for its limited use and excellent condition. A previous owner had high quality leather seat covers produced to protect the light beige leather from use. He also had removable leather handles made to help those of use with short arms close the Gullwing doors. Both are included in the photo gallery below. A fresh service and inspection from Salerno Motorsports means this car is ready to be enjoyed.

Priced just right at $149,995.
